Experience farm life in South Tyrol
Our family has owned Moosbach Farm for generations and has cherished and consistently improved it over time. In 1991 we decided to expand and add some holiday apartments. Since then we have regularly enhanced and renewed our apartments. The holiday rentals supplement our core business, which continues to be farming, including tending to the livestock, maintaining pastures and woodlands. Our work contributes to the preservation and conservation of the beauty of the South Tyrolean landscape.
The farm itself demands much maintenance. The garden surrounding the house provides organically grown vegetables and fruit, which we gladly share with our guests. Our small but lovely herb garden is located outside the main house and yields a variety of herbs to refine any dish and make every meal memorable.
Tending to our farm animals –milk cows and young calves in the stables, our pigs, chicken and cats – is an important part of our daily routine. Our young guests and their parents are welcome to join us. Especially the young calves love being petted. We believe that it is of the utmost importance to be considerate in dealing with natural resources and pursue an ecological approach to farming. It is the reason why the Moosbach Farm generates energy and warm water from solar power. Come visit us and our animals to gain insight into the typical South Tyrolean farm life.
